Hawa was involved in every aspect of the assignment, some of the highlights during that period included - she led the initial interaction to determine fit for purpose of the program, she planned the in-person engagement sessions with us - along with the follow up online integration sessions, she coordinated our travel and logistics from the U.K. to Nigeria. When I think about the years that Hawa and I have worked side by side on a multitude of diverse projects across continents, what comes to mind first is how diligent and thorough Hawa is in her research and communication. Few people have the opportunity to work with a manager who is also a coach and mentor—but I did when I worked under Hawa. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Hawa for 3 years, during which she served as Chief of Staff at eHealth Africa, where she successfully led the Culture Club and set the tone for life beyond the workplace. Above all, I was impressed with Hawa’s ability to effectively lead social and culturally diverse teams of over 350 staff across 4 country offices. And, of course, Hawa’s optimistic and affable personality would be a true asset for any position requiring Strategic Leadership and Strong Communication skills.
